Hornets vs. Bucks 03/01/2020

The Charlotte Hornets fell to the Milwaukee Bucks 93-85. The Charlotte Hornets failed to extend their winning streak to 3 games, giving up 41 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assist to league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks extended their streak to 6 games post all-star break.

Devante Graham led the Hornets with 17 points; he was among the five hornets players in double figures. The team finished the game 8 for 35 from behind the arc, but played inspired defense and held the Bucks to under 100 point the first time this season. In the post-game press conference, coach James Borrego said, ‘This is the defense I envisioned and where we are headed. If we keep playing like this we’re going to be fine.”

Marvin Williams received a warm reception from the Charlotte crowd, his first visit to Charlotte since the buyout on February 7th. Williams spent six years in Charlotte and was a vital part of changing the culture. Charlotte Hip-Hop Star DaBaby was on hand to watch the Hornets in a hard fought game. Milwaukee’s next game is on Monday vs. Miami in Miami. The Hornets next game is on Tuesday night vs. the San Antonio Spurs. One thing that comes to mind, Giannis DEFINITELY has Skills!
